Cabal is a former Colorado nonprofit contemporary art gallery & studio, formed in 2014 by a collective passion for underground art, DIY, South Broadway & Denver. Cabal’s co-conspirators continue to showcase their art, and work to amplify the voices of underrepresented artists of Denver in venues around town.
Mission: To dissolve the gap between those parts of the art world that are inaccessible, by providing a space for alternative education and opportunities, in which experimentation can occur, as well as cultivating a hub that promotes artist viability.
Impetus: Cabal Gallery is trans, nonbinary, queer, woman, POC, DIY, accessible, local, lowbrow, outsider, emerging, and builds community collectively. We are a place in which the weird, unexpected, and difficult or impossible to categorize can thrive.

We put the “art” in “party!”Looking for a relaxing and fun evening with your friends and your favorite bottle of wine, beer or nonalcoholic beverage? Now add to that the joy of learning to paint! Let our skilled artists walk you and your friends through creating your own paintings, start to finish, in a two or three hour period. These aren’t just art classes, they’re art parties. Uncork the artist inside while sipping your drink (wine, beer, or spirits), munching on snacks, listening to music and chatting with your friends. You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy the laid back atmosphere. Unlike art instruction through other venues, there is no commitment beyond one night – though you may love it so much you’ll come back regularly! And best of all, at the end of the night, you get to keep your own original creation!
